About The Event

About the presentation:

As design codes and standards are revised and upgraded, often as a response to issues that arise, new problems can be created unknowingly. Such is the case with how residential weeping tile and sump pump discharge is managed in the City of Saskatoon which has led to increasing issues and concerns particularly in newer neighbourhoods. Vanessa Heilman, Geotechnical Engineer at the City, will present on the existing situation, how it occurred, how it is currently managed and ongoing work in progress to attempt to address the problem.
